Training station on air on Monday
The training radio station run at Christchurch Polytechnic, Plain Radio 92.1 FM, will go on air for six weeks from April 13. To promote the station, broadcasting students of the polytechnic will be in Cathedral Square on Friday to give away Easter eggs and hot cross buns, and to stage news-reading competitions between noon and 2 p.m., and 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.
