Lap Top

The Datamini Lap Top is the latest of its type to be released in New Zealand. The 7.5 kg machine has an LCD blue screen, and is powered by a 16-bit 80186 microprocessor running at 4.915 MHz. It has 640 K bytes of RAM, and comes with a 20Mb hard disk and a 5>4 in floppy disk drive, or with just two floppy drives. The machine, described by the distributors as fully IBM PC compatible, has a range of prices that begin under $5OOO. The screen has 25 lines of characters. The keyboard is full size with the standard IBM layout. It comes with a carrying bag equipped with handles and a shoulder strap.
