Eclipse series
Data general has announced the three-mem-ber Eclipse MV/15000 series of 32-bit minicomputers, claiming they are the most cost effective and powerful computers in their class.
The MV/15000 model 8, 10 and 20 are Data General’s offering for the computing challenges of corporate, technical, re-
mote office and small business computing. Data General New Zealand says that when positioned against competitive offerings from both DEC and IBM, the MV/15000 series supports 25 to 100 per cent more office automation users and is up to 62 per cent faster performing technical computations.
