New rugby selector
lan Kennedy, who has had a long playing association with the Albion club, will have a new role in rugby this winter. He will select and coach the Canterbury team for the South Island under-18 tourna-
ment, having won the Job ahead of three other nominations. Nell Duckmanton (Christchurch Boys’ High School) will again have charge of the under-16 tournament team. He was re-elected unopposed.
