AN application has been received from Danes Back Country Experiences (Mr D. Gardiner) of Queenstown, for a concession licence to conduct passengers on rafts down the Waiatoto River from Donald Flat in Mt Aspiring National Park. Aircraft landings will be permitted on Donald Flat only and overnight camping will be limited to Donald and Drake Flats. Both of these areas are zoned natural environment “B” in terms of the current park management plan.
