Final flutter for ‘Lucky Punter’
Mr John Nairn, the winner of the $l5OO lucky punter competition sponsored by “The Press,” Radio 3ZB and the T.A.8., will have his final flutter at the Lion Brown InterDomnion Championships when the series concludes at Addington Raceway this evening. As on the three previous occasions Mr Nairn has spent $3OO. He has taken a $5O double on Paia Royal and Master Mood, has invested $lOO
for a place on each of those runners in races seven and nine respectively and has a $5O place bet on Quite Famous in race four.
