Licence granted
A selection of imported wines, mainly Italian, will now be offered by Continental Distributors, Ltd, as a complement to its gourmet food distribution business.
The Christchurch company was granted a distribu jts’ licence last week by the New Zealand Licensing Control Commission.
The sale of wines will
only be to licensed retailers, chartered clubs, licensing trusts and licensed restaurants in the Canterbury and Central Otago areas. In granting the licence, the commission stipulated that a separate storage area would have to be provided for the wine in addition to the gourmet foods storage area in Marylands Place.
