While in New Zealand she will hold workshops to train health professionals in her patient self-care methods, and hold public seminars on aspects of coping with arthritis. Dr Lorig will train the Arthritis Foundation’s 28 field officers on self-care methods and how to pass them on to foundation members with arthritis, when in Wellington in March. She will also visit Tauranga, Rotorua, Palmerston North, Wanganui, Nelson and Christchurch.
