Napier sailors to fore
PA Napier Napier sailors took first and third places in the first race of the national OK dinghy championships off Napier yesterday. Adrian Mannering, a former runner-up in the championship, pulled
away to win the opening race of the seven-race series by 38 seconds in westerly winds varying from 15-25 knots.
Wellington’s Joe Porebski was second and Napier’s Lachie McLean third, five seconds away.
