Accountant on theft charges
PA Auckland An assistant accountant last week faced charges of theft involving more than $300,000 when he appeared before Judge Maxwell in the District Court at Auckland. Peter Welitiong Chan, aged 26, of Morningside, entered no plea to 21 charges that from June to November, he stole sums of cash totalling more than $300,000 from his employer, Mesce Liquid Air,
kChan was until pnuary 16' on bail.
