Hong Kong airport
Three Hong Kong property developers plan to build a new airport, subject to Government approval. Hopewell Holdings, Ltd, Cheung Kong (Holdings), Ltd, and Hutchison Whampoa, Ltd, proposed to tie in the airport with new deep-water port facilities, housing and a toll highway nearby. The entire project, on Lantau Island, just west of Hong Kong Island, will cost more than SHK2O billion ($5 billion). — Hong
