Protest backs Kanaks
PA Wellington About 40 protesters met in Parliament grounds yesterday in support of Kanak independence in French-governed New Caledonia. The peaceful group heard a number of speakers including the Federation of Labour’s vice-president, Ms Sonja Davies, and the peace campaigner, Owen Wilkes.
