Liquor laws
Sir,—l have taken an active interest in seeking the reform of the Sale of Liquor Act, 1962, and its many amendments. The report of the Working Party on Liquor was published in October 1986 and, in my opinion, the recommendations in the report deserve widespread support. If changes are to be made to the law, based on the working party’s report, then it is important that those citizens who support the recommendations inform the Minister of Justice accordingly. Action would be appreciated. A few lines of support is all that is necessary.—Yours, etc., G. A. HAY. January 8, 1987.
