M.P. takes his dip
NZPA-Reuter Port Elizabeth South Africa’s only mixed-race Cabinet Minister led 150 of his supporters on to a whitesonly beach in the eastern Cape town of Port Elizabeth on Sunday for a swim protest against apartheid.
The Rev. Allan Hendrickse took the plunge under the resentful gaze of white extremists.

Party (Reconstituted National Party), who object to any dilution of apartheid, have vowed to press charges against anyone who oversteps the traditional dividing lines between black, Coloured and white beaches in Port Elizabeth.
