Runway hit by lightning
NZPA-Reuter Brisbane Brisbane Airport was closed for five hours yesterday after its main runway was damaged by lightning. An Aviation Department spokesman said all aircraft were diverted to other airports while a big hole oh the runway was repaired. ’
