N.Z. woman arrested
NZPA-Reuter Larnaca, Cyprus Larnaca Airport police arrested a New Zealand woman on Christmas Day after finding half a kilogram of heroin concealed on her body, according to court sources in Cyprus.
They said that Cecilia Sharlene Keer had come from Lebanon a week ago and intended to travel to Australia via Athens. She and a Lebanese man who was accompanying her were remanded in custody for eight days pending investigations.
