Search for capsize victims
NZPA-AP Miami A boat said to have been carrying 48 people from the Dominican Republic was reported capsized off the coast of Puerto Rico yesterday. Four bodies were recovered immediately, said a United States Coast Guard spokesman, Luiz Diaz. The boat apparently was trying to illegally reach the north-west tip of Puerto Rico, when it capsized 200 m offshore. Three men swam to shore, where they were arrested by Puerto Rican 4 K authorities, said Mr Diaz. The men told the authorities about the accident The Coast Guard ■ and United States Navy dispatched helicopters to S help Puerto Rican ?? authorities and dive teams ? search for other victims.
