Telegrams and tolls: the public telephones situated outside the chief Post Office are available for toll calls and telegrams when the telegraph counter is closed. * Motor registration transactions can be carried out at any district post office. University of Canterbury Post Office will close at 5 p.m. on Monday, December 22, 1986 and re-open for business on Monday, January 19, 1987.
