Iran radio network
NZPA-Reuter London Iran hopes to set up one of the world’s most powerful overseas broadcasting networks, Teheran Radio said.
The radio, monitored by the British Broadcasting Corporation, quoted the managing director of the Voice and Vision of Iran as saying the plans were made "in view of the importance of radio in conveying our message worldwide.”
He said it was hoped the network would have about 50 short-wave transmitters.
