TV star for Court?
The Court Theatre hopes to announce this evening that it has signed a British television actor, Michael Billington, to star in its next production. The theatre’s artistic director, Elric Hooper, declined last evening to confirm the actor’s particpation, saying the contract had not yet been signed. However, that should take place today. . Michael Billington j played Daniel Fogarty in the television series, “The Onedin Line,” and will be the lead in the Court’s production of “Les Liaisons Dangereuses.” He is at present on New Zealand television screens in “The Collectors.” The play’s season is due to open on February 7.
