Blenheim’s new cultural and entertainment venue, the Marlborough Centre, has given a new impetus to local talent and touring national and international performers. The indoor swimming pools within the Olympic Pool complex (above) have boosted competitive and recreational swimming opportunities. The amenities are further enhanced by pleasant surroundings, which include a picnic and barbecue area and mini-golf course. The town’s recreational and sporting facilities cater for all summer and winter field sports, as well as golf, squash, indoor cricket, bowls, croquet, tennis and rowing.
