Our Sophia with Alan Jones
Special correspondent Auckland The Cambridge trainer, Alan Jones, is being entrusted with the preparation of Our Sophia for the two big races assigned her before she is retired. One of the best-per-formed staying mares in Australia during recent years, Our Sophia is being set for the Lion Avondale Cup and the D.B. Auckland Cup. She will then go to stud, having already been bred with Windsor Park’s Star Way.
