Pacific Cup league
NZPA Rarotonga A courageous Tonga side, which fielded forwards in the backs to make up the numbers, bowed out of the Pacific Rugby League Cup at Rarotonga last evening, beaten,
46-4, by Western Samoa. It was . sweet success for Samoa which had lost to Tonga, 16-34, in section play. Samoa now qualifies for the grand final of the Steinlager Cup against the New Zealand Maoris on Friday night.
