Tauranga to end fluoridation
PA Tauranga Fluoridation of Tauranga City’s water supply will cease. A decision to end fluoridation was made by the incoming city council at its first formal meeting, after a notice of motion from a new councillor, Mrs Mary Dillon. The debate centred on the issue of democracy and expressed the wish of citizens who voted in a fluoridation referendum at the time of the recent local body elections.
