Grape record
The 1985-86 Australian grape harvest was a record 908,303 tonnes, up 2.1 per cent on the 1984-85 year. Production of grapes for wine making totalled 499,546 tonnes, for drying 368-997, and for table and other purposes 39,760 tonnes.
