An Avonhead combination of four women with Norma McGee as skip beat an allmale team from Quinns Road, 14-9, in the champion-of-champions indoor bowls McGee’s team of Margaret Nesbitt, Jean Furlonger and Dorothy Fridd, aged 79, raced away to a 5-0 lead after two ends.
