The misbehaving banana

By

TAMARA FAHL

It all happened when I made my lunch. I had some sandwiches, some biscuits, and a banana. I shut the lid and put it in my bag and walked to school. I got to school and hung my bag up and played with some of my ftgjends. At play-time I went to get my playlunch, and my banana was playing around. It talked to me. It said, “I’m the Misbehaving Banana.” I didn’t say anything. I didn’t have any playlunch but I said to myself, “How does he talk?”, and then I went to play. When the bell rang I went inside. I saw my banana eating my pencil

and then he scribbled all

over my books. Then he started to scribble in my books and then he went up to the board and scribbled on it. He scribbled all over the desks and at lunch-time he played Four Square and kicked the ball. It went through the window and then he came inside and pulled all the bags off the hooks. He went into the storeroom and pulled everything down from the shelves, and then we caught him. We put him in a cage for me to take him home. I took him home and made him into a banana cake. My family enjoyed banana cake.
