Drainage Board repairs culvert
Traffic was disrupted in Lake Terrace Road, Burwood, yesterday, as Christchurch Drainage Board workers poured some 15 cubic metres of concrete into a damaged culvert The board’s chief engin-
eer, Mr Peter Hunt said a Christchurch City Council supervisor discovered a section of the road had collapsed beside the culvert early yesterday. He said it was hoped the road would be open to traffic by today.
