Off-peak fares to go
Evening off-peak bus fares and the cheap week-end rate will be stopped from August 18, the Christchurch Transport Board decided yesterday. . The board was confirming a recommenda-
tion made by its operations committee late last month in an effort to cut costs and make the bus service more economic. Off-peak fares between 9 a.m. and 4 pan. on weekdays will still be available.
