Mrs Hercus not consulted
PA Wellington The Minister of Social Welfare, Mrs Hercus, was not consulted before her cabinet colleague, Mr Tapsell, made his controversial speech about the future of national superannuation, she said. Ministers would normally consult each other if they were giving a speech which touched on another portfolio, she said. "That did not happen in this instance,” she told reporters.
