Venison on show at fair
PA Wellington The Game Industry Board will stage its first big promotion of venison within New Zealand at the Hospitality Fair to be held in Auckland later this month. The board’s marketing executive, Ms Nickola Blunt, said the fair, with 80 exhibitors in the trade section alone, was expected to attract 10,000 visitors. The main feature of the promotion would be the Cliff Trillo Memorial National Salon Culinaire Cooking competition, which would include a section for venison for the first time.
