A summary of the Estimates is as follows: ESTIMATED PAYMENTS Salaries, Wages and Allowances 60,700.00 Ammunition and Materials 2,900.00 Field Expenses incl. Vehicles 14,750.00 Property Expenses 5,200.00 Administration 25,450.00 Goods and Services Tax Received on Rates 3,220.00 Capital — Motor-cycle replacement.... 2,979.00 $115,199.00 ESTIMATED RECEIPTS Rates 63,712.00 Government Grant 25,088.00 Rents 7,750.00 Vehicle Sales 2,000.00 Investment Interest 3,800.00 Other 3,500.00 Cr Balance April 1, 1986.. 9,349.00 $115,199.00 PUBLIC NOTICE is also given pursuant to Section 52 of the Rating Act 1967 that the Banks Peninsula Pest Destruction Board Intends at a meeting to be held at the Akaroa County Council Chambers, Duvauchelle on Monday, August 11,1986 at 1.30 p.m. to make and levy the following rates: (a) A General rate pursuant to Section 71 of the Agricultural and Pests Destruction Act 1967 of 72 cents per hectare on all rateable land in the area of the Banks Peninsula Pest Destruction Board. That a discount of five (5) per cent be allowed pursuant to Section 70 of the Rating Act 1967 on all rates paid no later than the 17th September, 1986. That an additional charge of ten (10) per cent pursuant to Section 71 of the Rating Act 1967 shall be added to all outstanding rates remaining unpaid after 18th February, 1987. That the minimum rate of $5.00 shall apply where the total amount of rates due by any one ratepayer would be less than $5.00, pursuant to Section 71 of the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967. That all rates struck are for the period, Ist April, 1986 to 31st March, 1987 and shall become due and payable on 18th August, 1986.
