Emburey out
NZPA-Reuter London The off-spinner John Emburey is out of the England team to meet New Zealand in the first cricket test starting at Lord’s tomorrow night (N.Z. time). Emburey suffered a broken nose and other facial injuries playing for Middlesex against Derbyshire in a Sunday League match on Sunday. He saw a specialist on Monday and will have an operation on the broken nose today. A Test and County Cricket Board spokesman said: “Emburey is expected to be fit by next week and a replacement for the first test will be named tomorrow.’’
