Boycott breaks wrist
NZPA-Reuter London The former England batsman, Geoff Boycott, may not play for his county, Yorkshire, again this season after breaking a bone in his left wrist. The fracture was confirmed on Monday when the 45-year-old opener saw a specialist for treatment of the injury, which has worried him for two weeks. It is expected to take at least a month for the injury to heal. His fellow Yorkshire and former England bowler, Arnie Sidebottom, also saw a specialist after complaining about a foot injury. This was confirmed as a broken bone in his right foot and he has been ordered to rest for a month.
