ARTIST-IN-RESIDENCE PROGRAMME Established artists in any media are invited to apply for residencies of either six or twelve months duration for 1987. Otago Polytechnic School of Art provides a studio and access to all facilities. The Dunedin Public Art Gallery provides a furnished three bedroom flat rent free. The Programme is sponsored by QEII Arts Council to the amount of $l5OO per month. Applications should include curriculum vitae, slides and review of work, a short statement of Intent and the names of two referees. The Trustees of the Foundation have announced that the first Award will be made In 1987. The successful applicants will receive sufficient funds over a 12 month period to enable them to .pursue their particular art form without the necessity to seek outside employment.
