School sued for bullying
NZPA-ReuterSan Francisco A boy, aged 10, and his mother have sued! San Francisco school officials and students for $U5351,100 ($656,370) in damages because of classroom bullying. Jason Reilley and his mother, Jane Austin, sought damages for emotional and medical distress, pain and suffering from the school district, the principal of Jason’s school, his teacher, and five classmates.
The boy said other students taunted and punched him every day and his teacher said it was his own fault. The school district had no immediate comment.
