CANTERBURY DOMESTIC RABBIT SHOW On Monday July 21, The Canterbury Rabbit Association will set up a display in the Promotions Mall at Linwood City. Monday to Thursday will feature different breeds of rabbits and there will be information and displays on the uses to which their fur can be put. One demonstration will be by Mrs Plumstead who will pluck angora fibre and prepare it for use. Some of the breeds on display will be: Rex: 26 colours in this breed. Bred to emulate wild animal colours, e.g. Seal Rex, Chinchilla Rex. Flemish Giants: Californians - white with black nose and eartips. N.Z. White. Netherland Dwarfs: Tiny breed, very pretty.
