S.A.L.T. Two
Sir,—Warren Thomson (June 19) seems paranoid abouy his
own ally. He admits to being anti-American, while choosing to ignore an awesome history of Russian transgressions against humanity (including their own countrymen), some of which were, and are, greater than any perpetrated by any civilised society. Apart from accusing Warren Thomson’s original letter of being anti-American, I also commented that it was anti-West and anti-common sense. That still stands.—Yours, etc., LLOYD HABGOOD. June 19, 1986.
