Woodman dies from injuries

PA Gisborne A Forest Service worker, crushed by a tree last Wednesday, died in Gisborne Hospital yesterday afternoon. He was John Parker, aged 20, of Gisborne, formerly of Blenheim. It took rescuers four hours to' free Mr Parker after the accident near Te Araroa on East Cape. -A workmate ran for l l / 2 hours to get help for Mr Parker, who suffered serious head and chest injuries. He was taken to Gisborne by rescue helicopter.
