$20,000 for Solomons
The Leprosy Trust Board decided in Christchurch yesterday to send $20,000 to the hurricanetorn Solomon Islands. The board has been sponsoring a multi-drug therapy campaign in the islands, using rural medical clinics. The money will go to rebuild clinics destroyed or damaged by the hurricane.
