Titles wrestled
I. Tuuta (Crichton Cobbers) won the P. C. Crooke Shield for the most scientific performance when he took the senior 68kg title in the Canterbury amateur wrestling championships at the Bryndwr Y.M.C.A. on Sunday. Rangiora was the most successful club, winning 13 of the 30 championships, and several minor placings. Rangiora also won some of the special awards, including the Pop Shield for the club winning the most schoolboy titles. Special trophes:—
