National ‘on the march’
PA Tauranga The National Party expects to have 170,000 financial members by the end of the year and at least 200,000 by next year’s General Election, says its secretary, Mr Barry Leay. Mr Leay told a meeting in Paengaroa, near Tauranga, that the “bloodletting” after the last election now appeared to be over and the National Party was on the march.
