The new releases from CEL (Communications and Entertainment, Ltd) include “Curtains,” a psychological horror story. Six beautiful actresses gather in a remote New England mansion to vie for the most important role of their careers— Audra, the psychotic heroine of a new film produced by Jonathan Stryker, a man notorious for his methods both on and off screen. The characters of the women manifest themselves as the week-end wears on, with Stryker’s dominance fuelling an already explosive situation. One by one the women are eliminated from the competition as Stryker gets more and more unrelenting. He pushes the remaining actresses to their zenith, taunting them until he too is murdered. “Who Will Love My Children” is a movie that had eight Emmy Award nominations. It won the
Emmy for outstanding, director (John Erman), and, a host of other awards. The film centres around the true and tragic story of Lucile Fray, a woman who, after giving birth to 10 children, is diagnosed as having cancer. In the last 10 months of her life she struggles to find a home for each of her children. The story tugs at the heart strings as she searches the world to find the right homes for her children. It stars AnnMargaret and Frederic Forrest. Bruce Lee is back in the last movie he made before his death, reputed to have been his best. In “Game of Death 11” Lee is flanked by some of the world’s most accomplished martial arts experts, high kicking their way through yet another classic Kung-Fu masterpiece. Four other Bruce Lee movies are being rereleased —“Game of Death, ”“Flst of Fury,” “The Big Boss,” and “The Way of the Dragon.”
