Explosives still missing
PA Auckland The Auckland police are worried that explosives stolen with a car at the week-end are still missing.
The stolen station waggon was found yesterday burnt out in Falls Road, Te Kauwhata. About 140 sticks of gelignite, 30 electric detonators and firing cable were removed before the car was wrecked.
The explosives and the vehicle were stolen from outside the Onehunga home of a blasting contractor early on Saturday.
