Ambulance driver attacked

An ambulance driver was attacked when he found a man taking drugs from his ambulance in Linwood early this morning. The ambulance had been called to Worcester Street address, where the driver left the vehicle to investigate, about 12.30 a.m. He returned to find the man taking drugs from the back of the vehicle and was stacked as the man fled. The driver was not badly hurt.
