Merino stud tour for Marlborough
Applications for registration for the Marlborough Merino Stud Tour of 1886 close soon with the organiser, Mr R. N. Campbell, 83 Main St, Blenheim, whose phone number is 89-998. The tour, on March 22, 23 and 24, will visit 14 top Merino properties in Marlborough as well as the breeder’s wether trial underway on Richmond Brook station. During the first day the buses will visit pro-
pertles in the Wairau and Waihopai Vcileys. During the second day, the Sunday, the tour will visit the lower Awatere Valley and on the third day, Monday, the upper part of the valley. Details of the properties and the bus arrangements will be provided with an application form, which has to be completed and returned to Blenheim by next Friday, March 7.
