Opposition call

Sir, —Why do National Party supporters not make themselves heard? Every time we have positive statements from National members of Parliament, for example Ruth, Richardson, Labour people rise up and condemn everything that is proposed. From the clobbering of superannuitants by this Government to impossible mortgage rates, huge increases in the price of everything we consume, to enormous new postal charges, not to mention unparalleled numbers of strikes, we remain silent Speak up. For goodness sake let us start some opposition. It is almost too late. — Yours, etc.,

E. P. MCMILLAN. February 21, 1986.
