Katherine’s wishing snail shell
By
CHRISTINE FERGUSON,
aged 9
Once upon a time there lived two girls who were best friends, called Katherine A and Catherine B. '
The two girls called themselves Katherine A and Catherine B so they would not get muddled up.
They also made sure that other people called them that, too. Katherine A owned a wishing snail shell. She had been kind to the
snail, and in return the snail said that his shell would give her wishes. Catherine B was the only other person who was allowed to use the shell.
The friends were very content with their luxury until one day the snail shell had said it was their last wish.
The two girls thought and thought. At last Catherine B had an idea. Her idea was that every wish of theirs would come true.
So Katherine A and Catherine B lived happily ever after.
