New Brighton Post Office

Sir, — Contrary to the views expressed in two recent letters, I must say that over the years I have dealt at the New Brighton Post Office. I have received nothing but courtesy and service. It is a pleasure to go into this post office and be greeted by a smile and "how are you today?” Sometimes there are delays at busy times, but being seaside folk there is usually a chance to chat with others who are waiting, and so the time passes. To walk to Parklands, as suggested by one correspondent, is just too far for we oldies without a car, so I will continue to go where I get satisfaction and service. —

Yours, etc., M. E. HEWINSON. February 21, 1986.
