THE JOB Our instrumentation department, as a result of this expansion, will be involved with commissioning our new plants, which will incorporate fully automated computer control and microprocessor based systems. In addition, we will continue to service our existing operations which cover the full range and types of instruments. Because of the continuous nature of our operations some of the servicing may entail shift work. In brief, the work is varied, and offers wide scope to a person of ability seeking a challenging future. QUALIFICATIONS A minimum qualification of restricted electrical registration is essential. The successful applicants should be experienced in industrial instrumentation, electronics or control systems. Formal qualifications, such as the industrial instrumentation trade certificate or N.Z.C.E. Electrical would be an advantage. Electricians, radio and television servicemen and related trades experienced in industrial electronics servicing should also apply, as the necessary process control technology training will be available.
